Donald Keith Namahoe Jr., 78, of Hilo died Oct. 27. He was born in Honolulu. Celebration of life Saturday, Nov. 22, at New Hope Leeward Kapolei on Oahu. Visitation at 10 a.m. Service at 11 a.m. Private scattering of ashes. Survived by daughters, Tay (Rusty) Pundyke of Kula, Maui, Wendy (Bill) Abilla of Waikele, Oahu, Gwen ( J ) Conway of Kaneohe, Oahu, and Tara (Garret Maeda) Thater; brother, Elton Namahoe of Hilo; sister, Juanita (Eddie) Namahoe-Adams of Dilley, Texas; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Rebecca “Becky” Kuuleiahina Kaiwi Todd Perkins, 79, of Pahala died Nov. 5 at Ka‘u Hospital. Born in Honolulu, she was the proprietor of Becky’s Janitorial Service, a certified nursing assistant for Aloha Healthcare Center, worked at McKinley Car Wash and American Optical, and weaved lauhala. Celebration of Life 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Wednesday at Isaac Hale Beach Park in Pohoiki. Survived by daughters, Mary Ann “Mercy” Kamakaiwi (Bill) Todd-Waller of Kailua-Kona, Kay Frances Tindell of Sacramento, Calif., and Becky-Joe Nalani (Amador) Puente of Las Vegas; sons, William Dean (Brenda) Perkins Jr. of Kailua, Oahu, Robert David Keone (Rena) Perkins of Waimanalo, Oahu, and Tito Lamont Manuo‘o (Leslie) Perkins of Ewa Beach, Oahu; many hanai children; 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.
